How it works
Remove Objects opens your PDF like a vector editor and reveals every object drawn on each page — shapes, lines, live text, images, even the background. Click the ones you want gone and delete them. Because it edits the page's real content, everything you keep stays byte-for-byte as it was.
- Upload your PDF
- Click any object to mark it for removal (it turns red), or use the Text / Images / Shapes buttons to grab them in bulk
- Turn on Outline to see everything selectable; Alt-click to reach an object hidden underneath, like a full-page background
- If a full-page mask is blocking clicks, select it and press Lock to make it click-through, then select what's beneath it (Unlock all to restore)
- Remove the selected objects, then download the edited PDF

What can I remove?
Vector shapes and lines, live (selectable) text, and images — including a full-page background. Use the Text, Images, and Shapes buttons to select every object of one kind at once.
How do I remove something hidden under a full-page mask?
Some PDFs have an object covering the whole page that intercepts every click. Select it and press Lock: locked objects turn dashed and become click-through, so clicks fall to whatever sits beneath them. Now you can select and remove the objects underneath. Unlock all when you're done — locking never changes the file, it only affects what you can click.
How do I remove the same object from every page at once?
Select one copy of it and press "All identical copies": every identical object at or near the same position on the other pages is selected too — small shifts or size differences between pages are matched — and one Remove deletes them all. Perfect for repeating headers, watermarks, and stamps in long documents.
Will removing something affect the rest of the page?
No. Only the objects you select are deleted from the page's content; everything else is left byte-for-byte untouched.
The preview looks a little off, but my saved file is fine — why?
If a PDF's fonts aren't embedded, the on-screen preview may space the text oddly while it stands in a substitute font. It's only the preview — the downloaded file keeps the original text and fonts exactly, so it looks correct everywhere.
Why won't some things highlight when I click them?
Artwork that's grouped and reused across the document is kept intact so editing it can't change it elsewhere. Turn on Outline to see exactly what's selectable, and Alt-click to pick an object sitting behind another.
Can I undo a removal?
Yes. Use Undo to step back after removing objects, and your original file is never changed — edits only apply to the copy you download.
Is my file safe?
Yes. Everything runs locally in your browser — your PDF is never uploaded to a server.
