How it works
Compare PDF puts two versions of a document next to each other and highlights the text that was added, removed, or changed. It saves you from reading both files line by line to find what's different.
- Upload the original PDF and the version you want to compare it against.
- Start the comparison and wait for both files to be analyzed.
- Review the highlighted differences shown side by side.
- Scroll through each change to confirm nothing was missed.
Frequently asked questions
What kinds of differences does it detect?
It focuses on text that was added, removed, or edited between the two files. Some layout, formatting, or image changes may not be flagged.
Does it work on scanned PDFs?
It works best on PDFs with selectable text. Scanned or image-only PDFs have no readable text to compare, so results will be limited unless the file has been run through OCR first.
Is there a file size or page limit?
Very large or long documents take longer to process and may hit size limits. For best results, compare files of a similar length.
Are my files kept private?
Your files are processed securely and are not stored after the comparison is done.
