How it works

Add Image to PDF places pictures — a logo, a signature, a stamp, or a photo — onto any page of your PDF. Upload the file, add one or more images, then drag each where you want and pull the corner to resize. Put different images on different pages, or the same image on every page. Images are added as real page content, so they print and share exactly as you see them.

Frequently asked questions

Which image formats can I use?

PNG and JPG images. PNG is best for logos and signatures with transparent backgrounds; JPG suits photos.

Can I add more than one image?

Yes. Add as many images as you like and place each one on any page — turn to a page and click an image in the strip to drop it there. You can also click the same image again to add another copy.

How do I remove an image I placed?

Select the placed image, then press Delete (or Backspace) or the trash button. You can also undo and redo any change with Ctrl/Cmd+Z and Ctrl/Cmd+Shift+Z.

Can I put an image on every page?

Yes. Select a placed image and tick "Show on all pages" to stamp it at the same spot on every page — handy for a logo or watermark-style mark. Each image is placed only on the page you're viewing unless you turn that on.

Will the image keep its quality?

Yes. Your image is embedded at its original resolution; resizing on screen only changes how large it appears on the page, not the stored image data.

Does it cover the text underneath?

The image is placed on top of the page, so wherever you position it will sit over the existing content. Move it to an empty area, or use a PNG with transparency, to avoid hiding text.

Is my file safe?

Yes. Everything runs locally in your browser — your PDF and image are never uploaded to a server.
